Mortal Guard respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Mortal Guard, 5731 rue Cartier, apt. 9, Montréal, QC H2G 2V1, Canada, is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Our privacy contact is Info@mortalguard.com.
What we collect
- Pre-orders — name, shipping address, email, phone, and what you order.
- Payment — Interac e-Transfers and PayPal payments are handled by your bank, Interac or PayPal. We never see your banking or card details.
- Forms — your answers on the Design your gloves page, your email for the newsletter, and your messages.
This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we use it
- To process, prepare and ship your order, and to contact you about it
- To handle returns, exchanges and support requests
- To let you know when a new series opens, only if you signed up
- To understand which gloves you want to see leave the workshop
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to do their job: our site host (Cloudflare), the service that delivers form submissions to our inbox (FormSubmit), our email provider (Google), and shipping carriers. We may also disclose information where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where it's stored
Our service providers may store or process your information outside Quebec, including in the United States, where it may be subject to that country's laws. We work only with providers that apply appropriate protections.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed to fulfill the order and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to the newsletter at any time. Email Info@mortalguard.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you're in Quebec, you also have rights under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, including the right to complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. If you're elsewhere in Canada, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
