Mortal Guard

About Mortal Guard

Protect the flesh. Master the technique.

I built Mortal Guard for the beautiful souls who seek protection and also appreciate beauty. It's all in the name. Mortal: the flesh, the body, the thing that can be hurt. Guard: what you put between it and the damage.

Strong for protection's sake. Not to attack.

This isn't gear for people who want to hurt someone. It's for people like me: gentle, and strong, and done showing mercy to bullies. Mastery plus protection. You learn the technique so that no one but you decides what happens to your body.

Always a student

I haven't mastered the technique. I'm mastering it, and I always will be. That's the honest version, and it's the one the brand is built on. Every pair that leaves here carries that: a promise to keep learning, not a claim to have arrived.

Built from the floor up

Mortal Guard was born during the hardest stretch of my life. I was sleeping on the floor, and already sketching the first design. I took the pain I was living through and turned it into something. This is the home I'm building for myself and for people like me.

The symbol

The Vitruvian Man inside a shield. The shield is the guard: what you put between yourself and the damage. The figure is what's behind it — the body you protect, and the one you spend years learning to use properly. Matte black, blood red, antique gold.

Numbered, not anonymous

Most gear brands keep the same design for years and only change the colours. We number ours. MG1 is the black wrist. MG2 is the red. Every design carries its number, so you know exactly which era your pair comes from — and when a series is done, we don't quietly reprint it.

What's next

The gloves are the first thing, not the only one. I'll keep making beautiful artwork for people who appreciate beauty, who seek to master the technique, and who want to protect themselves.
